Kasturi Kalidas Therapy - Muladhaar Charkra (Root Chakra). The root chakra, or Muladhara, is located at the base of your spine. It provides you with a base or foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability.
What is The Root Chakra?
The Root Chakra is like the base of a building, keeping everything stable. It's located at the bottom of your spine and is linked to feelings of safety and being connected to the earth. Its main job is to keep you rooted in reality and alive. This chakra is all about feeling secure and grounded, like having your feet firmly on the ground. If it's out of balance, it can make it hard for you to feel stable and secure in life. Balancing it helps you feel more grounded and ready for growth.

Root Chakra Symbol Meaning
This chakra is linked to your bones, spine, legs, and colon, the sturdy parts of your body. Its symbol is a red lotus flower with four petals. Each petal represents different aspects of your mind: thoughts, intellect, awareness, and ego.
Inside the lotus, there's a square that stands for strength and stability, giving support to the other chakras. The four corners represent the four directions, showing that from a strong base, you can move anywhere in life.
In the middle of the lotus, there's a triangle pointing down, symbolizing the expansion of your awareness. This is where the dormant energy called kundalini resides, waiting to be awakened and rise up through your body.
